Miniyaki's Alfresco Dining Events

Our story

Back in the dark ages of the Covid years, when  there was a huge demand for socially distanced events, Miniyaki's decided to plonk our Caterpod trailer at the bottom of our woodland bordered garden, put lots of lights and Japanese lanterns in the trees and had some concrete bench sets commissioned by E&I Williams.  Just like that our 'Alfresco Dining Events' were born.

Once the world was back to normal and we were back on the road with a busy schedule of pop up events here, there and everywhere, the Alfresco Dining Events stopped and our last one was in 2023 to celebrate our 10th birthday!

But customers kept asking when we would do them again.......so after lots of nagging on your part, we decided 2025 would be the year we bring them back!

What to expect

Miniyaki's are all about casual, laid back street food experiences. So our events are created with the same vibes.

Expect casual outdoor eating in our laid back Herefordshire country garden, seated either under our fairy lit trees where you can watch the sun setting through the woods, or in our newly renovated open sided shelter with views in to the wild Leepingstocks Reserve up here on The Doward.

All food will be served to you straight from our cute little Caterpod trailer. In keeping with the street food vibes we use biodegradable bowls and utensils.

Most of our events will be licensed and a selection of alcoholic & soft drinks will be available to purchase.

There will be some unlicensed events, to which we invite customers to bring their own alcohol with a small corking charge per table.  We do ask that customers do not bring their own alcohol to events listed as licensed.

From Easter Weekend until the end of August we will be opening 12 to 3pm & 5 to 10pm. We will be offering a special light lunch menu which will be swapped for our menu below for the evening. So look out for this one too!

These are outdoor events and as such we ask guests to dress as you would for an early evening ramble in the woods. Always taking into account our lovely country's fickle weather!
